Zusammenfassung: Du verfolgst Bestellungen, arbeitest mit QC / Produktion / Wareneingang / Produkt / Vertrieb / Finanzen / Planung / NPI an wichtigen Entscheidungen für die Lieferung von Waren. Die Position ist außerdem verantwortlich für die termingerechte Planung und Terminierung der Wareneingangs- und Bestandskontrolle der Produkte. Die Aufgaben und Verantwortlichkeiten umfassen u.a.:
Du übernimmst das gesamte Lieferantenmanagement: Aufbau und Pflege von Kontakten zu Lieferanten
Controlling und Pflege aller lieferantenbezogene Aktivitäten im ERP-System
Management des ERP-Systems: Potentielle Fehlerquellen bei Änderungen erkennen und Lösungen implementieren
Du erstellst nachhaltige Maßnahmen zur Optimierung des Einkaufsprozesses unterschiedlicher Materialgruppen und Dienstleistungen
Bestandsmanagement von zugewiesenen Waren und Komponenten, um die Versorgung in einem stark wachsenden Unternehmen sicherzustellen
Du behältst den Überblick über alle Kosten und überprüfst Speditionsrechnungen auf Richtigkeit der Fracht- und Zollgebühren
Sicherstellung von pünktlichen Lieferungen und Umsetzung von Eskalationsprozessen bei Beschaffungsproblemen
Risk-Management zur Identifizierung von problematischen Materialien inkl. Implementierung von Lösungen
Du unterstützt aktiv die Planungsgruppe bei der Datenverwaltung und -analyse und arbeitest auch eng mit unserem globalen Einkaufsteam in den USA
Kompetenzen und Anforderungen:
Erfolgreich abgeschlossenes Studium im betriebswirtschaftlichen oder ähnlichem Bereich in Kombination mit mind. 6 Jahre Erfahrung in einer vergleichbaren Position (bevorzugt Fahrrad- oder Outdoor-Branche)
Erfahrung im Bereich Projektmanagement und die Fähigkeit unter Druck an mehreren Projekten gleichzeitig zu arbeiten
Pragmatischer Problemlöser mit solidem Verhandlungsgeschick, diplomatischem Kommunikations- und Durchsetzungsvermögen
Selbstständige, sorgfältige und lösungsorientierte Arbeitsweise sowie fundiertes Zahlenverständnis
Einschlägige Erfahrungen mit einem ERP-System, bevorzugt SAP S4 Hana
Verhandlungssichere Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced strategic Buyer (m / f / d) for our European headquarters in Mainz-Mombach, Germany. This is an exciting opportunity to join our team in a fast moving, high growth business. You will become part of our new EMEA operations team that we are currently building in Mainz and will work closely with our global purchasing team based in the USA.
Summary: You track orders, work with QC / Production / Receiving / Product / Sales / Finance / Planning / NPI on important decisions for the delivery of goods. The position is also responsible for the timely planning and scheduling of the incoming goods and stock control of the products. We are a passionate and dedicated team who love to ride bikes and have fun.
The tasks and responsibilities include:
You take over the entire supplier management: Establishing and maintaining contacts with suppliers
Controlling and maintenance of all supplier-related activities in the ERP system
Management of the ERP system: identify potential sources of error in changes and implement solutions
You create sustainable measures to optimize the purchasing process for different material groups and services
Inventory management of assigned goods and components to ensure supply in a rapidly growing company
You keep track of all costs and check shipping invoices for correctness of freight and customs fees
Ensuring on-time deliveries and implementation of escalation processes in the event of procurement problems
Risk management for the identification of problematic materials including the implementation of solutions
You actively support the planning group in data management and analysis and also work closely with our global purchasing team in the USA
Competencies and requirements:
Successfully completed studies in business administration or a similar field in combination with at least 6 years of experience in a comparable position (preferably bicycle or outdoor industry)
Experience in project management and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously under pressure
Pragmatic problem solver with solid negotiating skills, diplomatic communication and assertiveness
Independent, careful and solution-oriented way of working as well as a sound understanding of numbers
Relevant experience with an ERP system, preferably SAP S4 Hana
Business fluent German and English skills, spoken and written
